Dear friends of Porch Lights Ministry,
It is with great joy that I begin 2024 as the new President of Porch Lights Ministry. I know that God created this ministry for the women of Richmond 10 years ago and it has been a beautiful ministry that brings women together from all over Richmond to experience community, to hear amazing Christian speakers, and to be encouraged by God’s love.
For 2024, we are planning a wonderful spring event on May 2-3, featuring Christian Artist and Philanthropist, Anne Neilson. We are also planning a Porch Party in February and three Porch Parties over the summer and early fall. We have an ongoing Book Club and are open to starting additional Book Clubs. As a Board, we are seeking to come alongside and encourage several other women-led Christian non-profits. We seek to keep you informed through our website, emails, Facebook, and Instagram.
Porch Lights is an all-volunteer ministry and we have a wonderful Board that works very hard to provide these opportunities. I hope you get to know each of these women who are seeking to serve God and the Richmond community. I ask that you pray for me, as I step into this role, and for our Board members as we seek God’s will for Porch Lights Ministry. There are many of you who I know and many of you who I look forward to meeting and getting to know. We are thankful for each of you and your involvement in Porch Lights. We pray that it has been a blessing in your life.
